VP Global Sales & Marketing

Scope

This is an opportunity to work for our retained partner within the wearable technology market providing highly disruptive products within the emergency services sector having a huge impact on personal safety and reduction of crime.

As a market leader within the UK, our partner has now expanded to over 40 countries worldwide growing by 30% YoY, they are now seeking for rapid change to capitalize and seize global market opportunities which will be led by the VP and executed by the commercial teams via development of strategic partnerships.

The VP Global Sales is an executive-level role developing to C-Level, with the holder being responsible for the Sales & Marketing strategy and the development of the Company. The role will include activities relating to Strategic business development, Marketing and Sales, to drive business growth and market share.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the senior executive team to develop an overall commercial strategy and commercial business plan to grow the global business.
  • Execution of the global commercial business plan via the global sales and marketing teams
  • Builds effective relationships with key business partners, suppliers, distributors and others in the UK, EMEA and Americas.
  • Oversee the Sales and Marketing activities to ensure that domestic and international targets are met or exceeded.
  • Reporting responsibility to the Board for all Sales activities globally.
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Team to define international sales agenda and go-to-market strategy. Driving sales revenues in both the short and long-term.
  • Collaborate with other functional heads to shape and define customer offerings with an emphasis on delivering long-term value to the business.
  • Provide for effective financial management of business, ensuring all appropriate accounting, pricing, payments and collection efforts are aligned to the correct accounting standards and business practices, to optimize costs and revenues.

About You

  • Commercial experience in managing major accounts, personally and through sales teams.
  • 10+ years’ experience in sales, at least 5 of these to be in an international context.
  • 5+ years of international channel management experience.
  • Previous responsibility and proven success in taking new technology products to European markets.
  • Educated to degree level or above.
