Veterinary Territory Manager

Scope

Rare opportunity to join a global leading provider of veterinary services in their continued growth. As part of a newly introduced team for this product portfolio will promote and support with a technical solution to hundreds of veterinary practices across the ROI region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the business activities, relationships and revenue streams in your appointed territory to deliver or exceed your sales target
  • To locate new business opportunities through new client acquisition and challenge the customer perspective, display the drive to succeed and bring vision and passion to the role when discussing our business solutions.
  • To sell the entire range of company services to all key areas of the veterinary market with a strong focus on cross-selling.
  • Actively convert dissenters in to advocates of our brand measured through the number of independent customers that migrate away
  • Proactively create, manage your calendar, to ensure targets are hit for new business and growth in existing accounts

About You

  • Previous/current sales experience in the Veterinary profession
  • A clinical background in veterinary would also be desired in addition to sales experience, but is not essential
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting & exceeding targets.
  • Good general education, preferably degree level and with animal health background
  • Knowledge of the Veterinary market, particularly veterinary technologies would be advantageous.
  • Commercial awareness and experience of working within a professional sale environment
