Veterinary Diagnostics Account Manager

Warwick - Hybrid working

Scope

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the leading veterinary company in the UK, with many years experience in the companion animal and equine sectors. The Veterinary Diagnostics Account Manager is to account manage all aspects of the customer relationship to all of the veterinary practices, corporates and businesses throughout the UK. This hybrid role is an 18 month fixed term contract rewarded with a competitive base salary; bonus and pension scheme; life assurance cover and private healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and develop the Company’s name in the marketplace, building the brand
  • Build relationships and fully understand each clients’ business and their growth aspirations
  • Understand local relationships between practices and key peers, veterinary referrals in the area.
  • Understand the decision-making process and decision makers in each businesses
  • Find solutions for current opportunities and drive their thinking towards the growth and return of imaging within their businesses
  • Demonstrate suitable equipment or arrange demonstrations from others within the company
  • Arrange Applications and Installation training as required
  • Continue to develop the relationships, extending the reach of their brand into the practices.
  • Present & sell technical service and clinical training, audit options
  • Maintain the CRM with all relevant customer information and opportunities
  • All revenue to each practice will be the responsibility of the Account Manager including service contracts, consumable sales
  • Encouraging internal staff development with the effective technical use of veterinary imaging equipment

About You

  • Significant knowledge of ultrasound and x-ray technologies in veterinary application would be desirable
  • Good understanding of the UK veterinary markets
  • Previous sales experience would be an advantage
  • Qualified veterinarian would be an advantage but not a requirement
  • Motivation & desire to succeed
  • Excellent communicator
  • Friendly, flexible and relaxed attitude
  • Good approach to planning
  • A team player who is prepared to get involved in cross business projects
  • Willingness to travel
  • Interested in technology
