Veterinary Diagnostic Account Manager

Scope

An excellent opportunity has arisen to progress your career with one of the world leaders in veterinary imaging and diagnostic equipment. The business is looking to expand and are currently looking for an account manager to join their dedicated team. You will be responsible for account managing all aspects of the customer relationships to all veterinary practices and businesses within the territory and selling corresponding products and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sell company brand within the marketplace
  • Work with the brand values to build confidence and develop strong relationships
  • Build relationships and fully understand each client’s business and their growth plans
  • Understand local relationships between stakeholders; including veterinary practices
  • Understand the decision-making process and form relationships with key decision makers
  • Find solutions to current opportunities and persuade their thinking towards the usage of the brands products
  • Demonstrate suitable equipment or arrange demonstrations from others within the business
  • Manage the ‘closing’ process irrelevant of who did the demonstration
  • Arrange applications and installation training as required
  • Maintain SAP and CRM systems with all relevant customer information and opportunities
  • Control strong opportunities pipeline
  • Conduit between customer and business, taking ownership of issues and ensuring close out
  • Take responsibility of all revenue from each practice including service contracts and consumable sales

About You

  • Strong knowledge and application of diagnostic imaging equipment within Veterinary
  • Good Understanding of the UK Veterinary Market
  • Previous sales experience is advantageous
  • Qualified vet would be an advantage
  • Desire to succeed and very motivated
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication and friendly attitude
  • Willingness to travel
  • Interested in technology
  • Strong team player who is prepared to get involved in the wider business
