Territory Sales Executive

Scope

This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Territory Sales Executive to join a specialist provider within their Industrial Adhesives and Tapes division. The TM will Promote / introduce and sell the designated range of products to end users with demonstrations to show key features and benefits of the product range, to achieve sales targets in line with the operating plan.

Responsibilities

  • Build knowledge of the product range, including competitor's products and key accounts on territory
  • Report any significant changes which could affect the future business
  • Identify and gain a clear understanding of nominated key accounts to include managing relationships with key contacts
  • Build relationships and manage distributors, key accounts, end users and contractors and Engineering Consultants
  • Update CRM system with sales visits, sales opportunities and activities within accounts & territory
  • Training of distributor internal & external sales people
  • Continuously expected to learn & improve skills relative to the market, products, applications, selling and administrative skills.

About You

  • Proven Adhesives or Tapes sales experience or a background in an Industrial Sales role with a proven track record of success in winning and retaining business.
  • Experience of managing a sales territory with multiple product lines
  • Hungry and dynamic with a focus on delivering strong results.
  • Self-motivated with an enthusiastic approach
  • Strong levels of communication at all levels
  • Team player with a strong focus on customer delivery
  • Proficient in using CRM systems to manage sales territory.
  • Ability to build relationships and operate in a complex organisation
  • Ability to challenge others
  • IT literate and competent with the Microsoft office package.
  • A good level of general education
  • Degree qualification or equivalent preferred but not essential
  • Enthusiastic and highly motivated
  • Very good relationship building skills
  • Team player with strong inter-personal skills
  • Highly effective influencing skills
  • Excellent presentation and education skills, both oral and written
  • Ability to deal effectively in all business relationships while projecting a positive image of the company
  • Solution oriented
