Scope

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a highly disruptive distribution organisation who specialise in state-of-the-art x-ray and imaging equipment for the dental industry. They offer real opportunities for progression and development as well as a competitive remuneration package.

Responsibilities

  • Building sales using a variety of strategies and sales techniques
  • Cost/time-effective planning for maximum return on company and personal time
  • Be flexible in terms of working hours and travel; overnight stays, etc.
  • Targeting potential customers and assessing opportunities for sales
  • Arranging appointments (“Virtual and face-to-face) with potential customers to sell products and develop business
  • Contact/meet with customers to address concerns and provide solutions
  • Follow up customer enquiries – by return
  • Identify customer needs and recommend product solutions (Consultative selling)
  • Analyse competitor activities and assess opportunities for business development
  • Working to revenue targets and KPI’s as set out by the General Manager
  • Networking with customers and building relationships
  • Attend and support relevant industry events and conferences to build business and expand knowledge
  • Work with General Manager to compile sales strategies for targeting large accounts
  • Liaise with office to compile quotations and follow through to close of sale
  • Keep up to date with industry developments to identify opportunities for new business
  • Writing reports and complete relevant company documentation in a timely manner
  • Undertake relevant training for equipment and personal development
  • Train end users on new products/systems
  • Collating, analysing and interpreting data

About You

  • 2+ Years of Sales Experience
  • Technical or Dental Product Sales Experience
  • Good level of education
  • Field Sales Experience – Desirable
