Technical Support Manager



This will provide the opportunity to work closely with all members of the team to develop and execute account-specific strategies, gaining large exposure to the Transplant business. Candidates must have a background in Transplantation Diagnostics and HLA related field.


  • Assist in the development and maintenance of performance measures to ensure a high level of efficiency and employee performance.
  • Help to set department policies necessary to meet business needs.
  • Maintains compliance to internal and external quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Set a standard of exceeding customer expectations and consistent stellar customer service.
  • Work with the department manager to implement technical support best practices in the International area.
  • Maintain compliance to internal and external quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure timely resolution to corrective actions for regulatory or department audit findings.
  • Serve on cross functional teams to represent the Technical Support department.
  • Mentor staff on critical technical and customer issue escalation. Escalate issued to the department head as appropriate.
  • Provide back-up support to sales and technical support when necessary

About You

  • Proficient in English – spoken and written
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemical Sciences, Biomedical Engineering or related science field
  • Proficient knowledge of Transplantation Diagnostics and HLA-related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in HLA laboratories
  • Work independently to troubleshoot instrument/product issues
  • MT (ASCP)
  • Proficient in French - Desirable
  • Experience providing training, service and support to external customers - Desirable
  • Experience assisting internal and external customers in product investigation / complaints, to ensure customer satisfaction, regulatory compliance and problem resolution
