Talent Acquisition Manager

Scope

We are constantly seeking to strengthen our organisation by adding the best available talent to our team. We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to help us source, identify, screen, and hire individuals for various commercial roles in our company as we move into a period of high growth. This is a key role and will underpin our commitment to becoming a high performing organisation, in this highly significant and exciting chapter for the business.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, 2-3 years’ experience in talent acquisition or recruitment and crucially, a key ability to make an impact quickly and win over others in a highly competitive market space. This role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal skills as you will be both the external face of the organisation and working cross functionally internally.

Responsibilities

  • Input into overall hiring strategy of the organisation to ensure our team consists of high performing individuals
  • Ensure the recruitment needs of the company are being met, with a long-term talent strategy in mind
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives and feedback to the LS team relevant market space activity
  • Work with the LS team to create and implement end-to-end candidate hiring processes to ensure the highest quality candidates and a positive experience
  • Form close relationships with internal hiring managers to ensure clear candidate/interviewer expectations
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify current and future needs
  • Determine selection criteria for candidates by liaising with the LS team and HM
  • Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn and other professional networks
  • With the LS team, create job descriptions and interview questions that reflect the needs for each position
  • Identify and refine down the most suitable talent from available candidates to present to HM
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews
  • Assess candidate information, including CVs and any other relevant qualifications
  • Organise and attend job fairs and recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline, and identify potential opportunities for pipeline development
  • Keep records of all data used for recruitment, including interview notes, to share with key stakeholders to support interviewing/hiring decisions.
  • Be capable of leading constructive dialogue/feedback with peers to sustainably grow our business via outstanding talent acquisition.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of hiring activity across vertical and local market competitors and utilise information gathered to contribute to key topics internally e.g. comp and bens discussions etc.
  • Liaise with external recruitment providers when necessary, but not by default.
  • Take lead in developing comprehensive and stimulating on-boarding programmes for new hires, including identifying appropriate training requirements and driving internal / external training courses.
  • Accountability for managing any “talent support” products including such items as video interviewing technologies and psychometric profiling tools.
  • Work closely with our Marketing function to enhance our external brand presence and appeal via innovative recruitment campaigns.
  • Responsible for helping to organising and delivering highly engaging events (both internal and external) relevant to employee engagement and attraction e.g. company training/social events as well as external trade shows.
  • High energy level and outlook, and able to demonstrate strong levels of objective judgement
  • Ability to articulate and show high work ethics and integrity. Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

About You

  • Work experience in recruitment/talent acquisition
  • Familiarity with social media, CV databases and professional networks
  • Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods including Psychometric testing
  • Knowledge of CRM/Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience in using LinkedIn to proactively source candidates
  • A keen understanding of the requirements for each role in the company
  • Proficiency in documenting processes and keeping up with industry trends
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
