Surgical Sales Specialist

Scope

Consult are in collaboration with $4bn Med Tech company offering products across imaging, surgical and diagnostics. Recognised as a leading innovator in women’s health care they are committed to bringing ground breaking technology to the market that allow healthcare professionals around the world to diagnose and treat their patients with confidence and certitude.

They’re looking for somebody who is able to cover South East UK territory.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct sales calls, build rapport and make presentations to surgeons, physicians, nursing staff, hospital administration, supply chain, payers, health care providers and other necessary to achieve sales objectives
  • Sales Planning: Plan and execute a tactical Sales Plan
  • Achieve sales forecast objectives for all products, to include capital equipment and related disposables.
  • Provide surgical procedure and technical product support in surgery as well as ongoing customer service in accordance with company policy.
  • Support the development of in-field training programs for regional centres of excellence and develop a close working relationship with the course director and facility.
  • Plan and conduct educational programs at regional institutions for customer training.
  • Submit timely purchase orders, sales planning and expense reports.
  • Report customer product inquiries and service requests.
  • Maintain up-to-date computerized account information, hospital lists, and customer files
  • Establish and control territory operating budget.
  • Provide feedback on product performance, competition, products, marketing practices and customer satisfaction.
  • Submit reports regarding operation of the territory, product acceptance, and specifications, or competitive activity
  • Attend all corporate training, sales meetings, conference and exhibitions and in-field development courses.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies, procedures, instructions and directives to achieve objectives and maximize profitability.

About You

  • BA/BS Arts/Science or a nursing qualification.
  • Proven success in selling surgical products to consultant surgeons and theatre personnel Working within an operating theatre environment with a demonstrated ability to work with surgeons
  • The ability to successfully develop relationships with key decision makers within a market based on a new product technology and surgical procedures
  • Experience in developing and establishing professional education training courses for surgeons and nursing staff
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, communication and leadership skills
  • Flexibility, self-motivation and team orientated; good judgement, a strong work ethic and personal integrity based on a high value system
  • Expertise in MS Office: Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and familiarity with other business software.
