This role will require the successful candidate to manage, implant, prosthetic and associated instrument product lines to achieve the established company objectives. • Adhere with the company’s Quality Management System to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Build, lead and nurture the Product Marketing team, while setting the strategic direction with the support of the Vice President of Product Marketing
• Participate and collaborate with the Vice President of Product Marketing and European brand management team on portfolio positioning, pricing, segmentation and targeting strategies
• Develop the marketing plan to be executed by the Product Marketing team
• Define goals for the Product Marketing team based on corporate objectives and product development to achieve overall company targets
• Work closely with Sales, Customer Care, Operations, R&D, Regulatory and Quality to ensure effective product life-cycle management from conception to obsolescence
• Act as the voice of the customer to guide marketing activities and product development decision making cross functionally
• Manage product and feature development from ideation to implementation with cross functional teams
• Provide leadership - and be the expert on - the competitive landscape to provide guidance to internal teams for product development and outside sales teams for competitor targeting
• Perform market analysis, including reviews of competitive products to identify trends and product portfolio gaps to assist with strategic planning
• Collaborate with sales, and other departments to develop go-to-market strategies to win in targeted customer segments
• Establish effective and routine communication with department managers to ensure successful completion of projects while keeping senior management informed
• Lead the Product Marketing team in the execution of marketing communication efforts, including, development of product marketing collateral, digital marketing promotional campaigns and overall media plan content
• Ensure the product marketing teams day to day activities are in line with meeting corporate objectives for product development, launches and growth in key markets.
• Interface with customers, prospects through setting up focus groups with customers and internal team members to gather feedback
• Provide new hire training to new team members or at key events for existing and new products
• Regularly attend key industry meetings and courses to meet with customers, suppliers and team members

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Internal: Communicates with all areas of company internally and in the field

External: Communicates with vendors, customers, and clinicians

Supervision: Multiple positions within the Product Marketing team

• Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or similar field required. MBA preferred
• Experience using digital marketing effectively for medical devices
• Experience in medical device product development process and planning launches in multiple markets
• Experience guiding cross functional teams throughout life-cycle management to develop, maintain or discontinue products and meet customer needs
• 5-7 years experience in product management (dental industry preferred)
• 3-5 years of managing product management teams
• Extensive knowledge of the product development process within the medical device industry
• understanding of the regulatory requirements within the medical device industry
• Strong leadership and negotiation skills
• Excellent communications skills both oral and written
• Experience in analysing data relating to product performance to assist in future product planning and execution of marketing strategy
• Ability to manage team members with varying projects while meeting deadlines and overall corporate objectives
• Strong technical and conceptual aptitude
• COVID vaccination required in states where applicable
• Hep B vaccination required or signed declination form
