Site Technician

My client is one of the largest manufacturers of flat/pitched roofing and waterproofing solutions throughout Europe. They now have an opportunity for someone to join them as a Site Technician. You will be covering South London, Sussex, Kent and Dorset. The purpose of the Site Technician role is to support the commercial functions and to maintain the Companies high standards of roofing installation and exacting performance standards. This is achieved through the regular attendance at site during projects to ensure compliance with the specification and to monitor the quality of the application through to final guarantee.

• Ensure compliance with the specification and to monitor the quality of the application through to final guarantee.
• To demonstrate the product range available and to support commercial campaigns
• To provide a level of guidance from a technical perspective
• To ensure that complaints are dealt with in a timely manner and that responsibility is allocated accordingly
• To improve the contractors understanding of the installation of the system as well as industry standard working methods.
• Flexibility within the team to ensure that a level of service is maintained to the business and its customers/clients
• Outputs & Accountabilities Accountable for the smooth running and completion of roofing projects as per specification
• Accountable for ensuring that all products are used accordingly and escalating non-compliance through site reports to contractors and the company

• Need to have roofing/waterproofing industry experience – preferably in liquid, synthetics and bitumen.
• To understand all aspects of flat roofing products and installation methods
• A broad base of practical and technical flat roofing experience with a number of years spent in a hands-on roofing capacity
• CSCS Card
• NVQ Qualification in Waterproofing
• Working at Heights
• The ability to communicate at all levels
• High level of enthusiasm
