Senior Territory Sales Manager

Our Client within the Animal Health industry, a progressive and dynamic market leader are looking for a Senior Territory Sales Manager to sell and support the company’s range of products in your designated territory. This Animal Pharmaceuticals company with a strong and well-established portfolio of products, are in the exciting process of launching new products this year, in which you will certainly unlock your true potential.

• Support UK Sales Manager in Tenders & Contract Discount Reviews where applicable
• Maintain profitability at territory and practice level by ensuring practices have the best product mix to achieve improved margins
• Lead on field based projects e.g. piloting new marketing initiatives & NP launches
• Be the Team lead in terms of use of data and sales gap analysis and support other team members where needed
• Maintain accurate records, via the CRM system provided, of all activities carried out by you in your sales territory
• Conducting 121’s with team members to review sales data, market share analysis and offer solutions and support and Lead some sessions at Sales Meetings and work cross functionally with the Marketing Team on project work as required by UK Sales Manager
• Coach and mentor new team members, also provide product training and support activities for customers in your sales territory
• Represent the company at the highest level possible, building the reputation and working to the standards set by the company, attend exhibitions and meetings as required within and outside your territory to support business goals of the company.
• Actively report competitor activity and data and work cross functionally to support the marketing team
• Work within all regulated timescales for reporting of Complaints and adverse reactions on territory to Technical Services Department, Product Manager and UK Sales Manager
• Carry out market research, market monitoring and competitor monitoring on both an ad hoc and structured basis reporting back to Sales Management or other colleagues as required
• Produce reports and carry out additional tasks for members of the Management Team
• Deliver accurate and on-time admin tasks e.g. end of month documents including expenses
