Regional Therapeutic Radiographer

We have an opportunity for a high-calibre, passionate Senior Therapeutic Radiographer (Band 7 equivalent) to work with our client who are a highly progressive, specialist private healthcare provider at the forefront of innovation.

This role is a rare regional opportunity, which will involve covering clinics in the London & South East region. You will be responsible for stepping into Centres to support treatments, pre-treatment and SABR treatment delivery.

• Working on the Elekta or Varian Linacs across treatment centres so that all operational objectives and standards are achieved, and the reputation of exceptional service and outcomes is always maintained.
• Support the SABR and IGRT aspects across all radiotherapy pre-treatment and treatment applications.
• Working closely with the clinical team of Regional Principal Radiographers, Lead Radiographers, Lead Physicists, Senior Dosimetrists, other Radiographers, Nurses and administration staff in all aspects of the radiotherapy process.

• Experience and understanding of UK radiotherapy
• Previous experience within all aspects of radiotherapy; quality assurance, pre-treatment and treatment
• Previous experience of SABR pre-treatment and treatment - advantageous
• Evidence of empathetic and a holistic approach to patient care
• Previous experience working in private health sector – advantageous
• Experience of proactively evolving radiotherapy techniques
• A range of radiotherapy clinical skills
• Evidence of effective organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong relationship building skills
• Able to make independent judgments/decisions, ability to solve problems
• DCR (T) or BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy (or equivalent)
• HCPC registration
• Evidence of continuing professional development
