Sales Manager – Medical Technology

Northern Germany - Remote

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and developmental individual, with experience and demonstrable success in Sales Management in a similarly high-performing and reputable global organisation – Not necessarily from within the Medical industry.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach and motivate an assigned team of Territory Managers
  • Provide leadership and coaching to Territory Managers in one-on-one and group settings
  • Support and guide Territory Managers in developing sales plans and strategies to reach their targets
  • Ensure that Territory Managers address customers with specific action plans
  • Provide training in product knowledge, customer segmentation and selling skills
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns when required
  • Hire high calibre Territory Managers to keep leading a high-performance team
  • Balance short term operational needs with long term organizational needs of the business
  • Regularly report sales performance of your team to the Business Unit Manager
  • Collaborate with a network of business leader colleagues to develop new ideas how to bring sales forward

About You

  • Academic Background in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing
  • Minimum of 5-8 years sales experience with at least 2-3 of those managing a sales team
  • Preferably experience in the medical device or healthcare industry
  • Natural ability to spot business opportunities and to persuade and influence others
  • An advocate for digital products and workflows to help growing our doctors’ practices
  • Strong insights & business analytical skills, experience in budget management and planning
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in German and English
  • Advanced presentation, negotiation and coaching skills
  • Full, clean driving license
