Scope

This is an opportunity for you to join a global organisation with a long-standing reputation for providing innovative world leading technology in multiple areas of surgical medical devices.

Responsibilities

  • This field based post is responsible for the direct sales, marketing, support and promotion of the business’ advanced product and service solutions which could encompass one or more of the industrial portfolio (RVI, NDT, ANI or IE Microscopy) throughout the UK.
  • Work with National Sales Manager to develop and execute key account business development strategy
  • Lead sales process for complex products/applications through customer consultation/demonstrations, solution specification, negotiation and order closing
  • Support for complex products/applications including quote generation and demonstration
  • Develop and execute marketing plan working with National Sales Manager and Marketing Specialist, including attendance and key exhibitions, industry events
  • Work with the Territory Managers when it comes to the sales opportunity pipeline against agreed target and KPIs
  • Develop and deliver structured training courses for customers/TM’s for complex products/solutions

About You

  • Experience of dealing with and managing key accounts
  • Handling complex technical enquiries
  • Managing and converting competitive account and handling objections
  • Proven success in sales desirable
  • Good technical or engineering knowledge preferably within the scope of the product area ie. RVI, NDT
  • Understanding of key industrial markets such as aerospace, power generation, oil & gas
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as marketing tools such as LinkedIn
