Safety Training Instructor

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and qualified training instructor to join a world-renowned provider of industrial workplace safety training. If you have previous experience with delivering working at height or confined space training, this position could be ideal for you.

This position will be an ad hoc resource, so you will be offered training opportunities as per business needs. This would suit a freelance training professional, or someone looking for a more balanced, flexible work situation. Please enquire if you have further details.

In this role, you will be working at various customer sites coordinating and delivering working at height and confined space safety training. Your delegates will be professionals in the wind and telecommunications industry, as well as roof workers for working from height.

• Minimum of 3 years working within the relevant industries
• Minimum of 1-year teaching/or further educational training experience
• Fall protection equipment knowledge & working at height experience
• Experience working with Risk Assessments & Method Statements
• Teaching or Further Education Training (Mandatory)
• Manual Handling
• First Aid
• PFPE (Personal Fall Protection Equipment) Inspector
• Current Working at Height certification including Rescue
• Confined Spaces (for applicable roles)
• Current Health Screening Medical (for Working at Height/Confined Spaces)
• Maintaining expertise in subject area.
• Excellent written and communication
• Ability to work effectively remotely
• Driving licence
• Outside IR35 – open to Ltd contractors if candidate can supply £1M Public & Professional Liability Insurance cover.
