Regulatory Affairs Assistant

Scope

This is a great opportunity for a knowledgeable and experienced Regulatory Affairs professional to join a market-leading, global manufacturer as part of a dynamic and supportive team.

As a Regulatory Affairs Associate, you will provide an essential function within the personal protective equipment (PPE) division and ensure global compliance to the relevant regulatory bodies for the welding safety product portfolio.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing, maintaining and submitting regulatory documentation for all key global product certification schemes applicable to the welding product portfolio.
  • Working with countries outside of the EU to provide information to support local certification processes where applicable and as prioritised by the business
  • Working with business portfolio leader(s) and manufacturing for the introduction of new products and management of change in existing products to ensure regulatory compliance at all times
  • Assisting key stakeholders/business leaders with new business opportunities, quality or regulatory compliance queries by delivering expert product certification and conformance advice for all welding products.
  • Performing routine regulatory tasks for new and existing products.
  • Keeping abreast of changes in all applicable global standards and Regulations/Directives.

About You

  • Minimum Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in a scientific or engineering discipline or HNC or equivalent and significant previous regulatory experience.
  • Regulatory Affairs, EHS, Manufacturing, Laboratory and/or Research and Development experience
  • Desired skills: interpersonal effectiveness, oral and written communication proficiency, organisational skills (prioritisation, project management)
  • Ability to work well in diverse teams
  • Flexible with a high degree of personal integrity and motivation
  • Knowledge of welding products, standards and regulatory framework is desirable but not essential.
