We are recruiting for a leading manufacturer of Security Technology for both the public and private sectors.

Our client have become the most successful company in this rapidly expanding market and have sold their equipment to the majority of relevant authorities and private organisations.

They operate in over 40 countries and are rapidly expanding their international activities.

  • Develop the companies US revenues, focusing on the Corrections marketplace
  • Create new business relationships with end users and partners not currently working with the company.
  • Increase new customer acquisition rates.
  • Work with the Marketing and Telemarketing function to convert leads to new sales revenue
  • Research the US marketplace for similar products in order to identify new opportunities for the company’s marketing leading products
  • Contribute to strategic thinking for the USA business plan
  • Manage and grow existing customer base
  • Identify and grow channel partners Responsibilities
  • Achieve the quarterly sales quota for the company within the USA
  • Follow up leads from marketing campaigns
  • Have a detailed understanding of the US Corrections marketplace for similar camera technology, including trends, new requirements and competitor activity
  • Carry out sales as well as training webinars for customers and prospects
  • Travel as required to large customer opportunities
  • Prepare tenders, quotes and other sales documents
  • Identify, qualify and onboard potential reseller or technology partners in agreement with the Senior Leadership Team.

About You


  • 5+ years new business sales experience
  • Solution selling background in the public safety marketplace
  • Experience preparing tender submissions to public safety organisations
  • Superior negotiating skills
  • Excellent networking skills in order to identify and open up new business opportunities
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Good time management, attention to detail, ability to handle pressure and deal with ambiguity


  • Self-motivated, with a ‘hunter’ mentality
  • Experience of the body-worn camera market, or related technologies such as CCTV
  • Network of contacts in the Corrections or related law enforcement area
  • Software Sales background an advantage
  • Knowledge of basic storage, cloud and networking concepts
  • Familiar with
  • Knowledge of computer memory and processing power, different versions of Windows, storage solutions (on disk, NAS, SAN, cloud, etc.), databases (namely Microsoft SQL Server), servers and virtual machines, and network connectivity and bandwidth.
