Regional Sales Manager

Scope

Extremely rare opportunity to work with a world leading manufacturer operating in the in the healthcare, science and technology market.

You’ll be responsible for driving a high-performing team of 8 Territory Managers and a BDM, creating and implementing strategy for our clients portfolio of Surgical and Woundcare products across the South West region.

We’re keen to engage with existing high-calibre leaders with experience in a commercial healthcare setting, or senior level medical sales representatives with team management experience.

Responsibilities

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for leading and managing regional sales for Surgical and Wound Healing Solutions and other focused products in order to achieve the regions financial and strategic goals.

  • Implementing regional-level strategic sales plans for Territory Managers and a Business Development Manager
  • Supporting the business by managing performance goals to achieve the regional annual financial and strategic goals for our clients varied portfolio of medical devices
  • Hiring, developing, onboarding, and retaining high-performing sales professionals
  • Maximising the contribution and potential of each regional team member through the identification of training needs and the implementation of a comprehensive and effective development plan.

About You

  • Degree level qualification preferably in a Medical/Scientific or Business discipline or equivalent industry experience.
  • Significant sales and leadership experience in medical device and/or other healthcare-related field
  • Experience of working within the NHS is strongly preferred
  • A proven leader with the ability to communicate vision to inspire internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly influential, gains commitment and finds solutions to enable progress
  • Analytical & strategic - familiar and comfortable in utilising data
  • Ability to forge strong internal and external relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Previous management experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with MS Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with a CRM system and using it as a tool to drive business
