Regional/National Sales Manager

Scope

Our client is a world leader in the field of innovative implant-based dental restorations. Their product offering includes dental implant systems, high prosthetics, and digital workflow technology. We support customers throughout their professional journey and practice development, looking to work consultatively in uncovering individual needs and providing bespoke solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all sales activities with the client’s corporate partners within the UK & Ireland, identifying new contracts and tender opportunities.
  • Liaise with Sales Force and SLT regarding market potential within the assigned Region, preparing and implementing sales forecasts as required. Propose and implement action plans, which ensure that the sales goals are attained or exceeded.
  • Supervise and evaluate activities of assigned Regional Key Account and Territory Managers, providing training, advice, leadership, coaching, guidance and feedback to achieve the established objectives of the region. This includes co-travelling with direct reports.
  • Liaise with leadership across the organization, Marketing & Education, HQ, Customer Services & Finance to ensure that sales objectives and activities are integrated with other parts of the business.
  • Review and analyse Regional sales, reporting to the Sales Director any product issues, loss or potential loss of key customers, or competitive sales strategies, which negatively or positively affect Regional sales. Advise about and ensure corrective action is implemented.
  • Conduct regular meetings to ensure constant communication and consistent application of company sales strategy, policies, etc with Senior Leadership Team to respond to Regional and wider UK issues.
  • Maintain and grow business with customers in the region to ensure that sales techniques and business opportunities are maximized.
  • Responsible for managing, nurturing and sustaining the relationship and interaction between the company and its established corporate partners.
  • You will use the partnerships to increase both market share and sales revenue, through mutually beneficial objectives and aligned strategic activity
  • Develop and implement sales training tools and processes, including tactical pricing models, business opportunity models and educational programmes.
  • Communicate with corporate partners to determine sales goals and strategies.
  • Review and update sales and marketing strategies with each partner. Evaluate performance and provide proper support where needed to achieve revenue targets and wider KPIs.
  • Advise management on sales directions, competitors and market trends, including technology trends
  • Complete thorough market analysis to determine prioritized areas for commercial growth. Identify new key target accounts and generate plans, including timelines and responsibility
  • Identify KOLs who will help educate dental clinicians and students about the benefits of using the client’s products in practice.
  • Develop a system of managing and expanding upon our current relationship.
  • Create and sustain relationships at key teaching institutes to drive market growth.
  • Develop strong ties with key customers and key accounts and be proactive in understanding the trends and issues likely to impact our markets
  • Perform all assigned administrative responsibilities timely and accurately.

About You

Preferred Requirements:

  • At least two years previous dental or medical sales management experience
  • Experience selling technical products/digital workflow in the dental industry (desirable) or capital equipment industry.
  • Ability to analyse data to identify trends, dips, growth opportunities.
  • Proven track record of developing and effectively implementing sales strategies, business plans, forecasts and budgets, and achieving sales results.
  • Experience in establishing and building strong collaborative business partnerships with corporate partners.
  • Experience in creating and sustaining strong profitability and business results within a successful organization.

Job Requirements:

  • A degree in Business Management or relatable field
  • Concentrations in healthcare, business, and or marketing are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5+ years direct Sales experience.
