Refrigeration Technical Support

Our client are a leading distributor of Commercial refrigeration Spares to the Catering and Refrigeration sector and are seeking to recruit a Technical Sales/Support Engineer to assist in offering refrigeration knowledge and supporting a growing team.

The ideal candidate will support a range of commercial refrigeration, electronic products controllers and is ideally based in the North or Manchester areas. You’ll get the opportunity to develop your commercial skills, whilst utilising your technical knowledge to advise engineers, customers and support the growing team.


  • To provide technical and engineering assistance to customers and the team on various commercial refrigeration, controls and spare parts. Identifying from service reports and advising what is required.
  • To issue sales quotations and progress quotations in order to secure the sales order.
  • To liaise with our purchasing / warehouse department to ensure the fulfilment of sales orders.
  • To assist the technical manager in the evaluation and introduction of new stock lines to hold.
  • To assist and support our internal and external sales staff with technical enquiries. Possible training options for internal staff.
  • Support the current team in a technical capacity in offering alternative spares option if parts are obsolete.

About You

  • Ideally you have a good practical and theoretical knowledge of commercial refrigeration systems and controls
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Desired office environment skills, Basic email / Pegasus office systems not essential as training will be given
  • Good controller knowledge
