Production Engineer



This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Engineer to join a global technology company who operate in over 100 countries. Our Client are looking for a process orientated and customer focused individual with experience in a fast production environment, such as a food industry background to join our manufacturing client. The main purpose of this role is to provide production engineering support in line with company goals and objectives.


  • Provide full support to production processes and assist with the development, testing and introduction of new products.
  • Implement and develop key measurables to identify and drive business improvements within the department.
  • Develop and implement significant improvements in department wide processes, procedures and systems.
  • Improve the overall reliability and performance of plant, personnel and production equipment and processes.
  • Assist in the launch of new products and change management within the department.
  • Help with installation and commissioning of new equipment and processes.
  • Maintain and develop the delivery of finished products in line with cost, quality and production schedule requirements.
  • Implement standard operating procedures across all areas of responsibility.

About You

  • 3-4 years’ experience with assembly background
  • Degree preferred in mechanics engineering / automotive
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Process orientated
  • A team player with the ability to work with staff at differing levels of the organisation.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
