Procurement Manager

My client is one of the largest manufacturers of flat/pitched roofing and waterproofing solutions throughout Europe. The purpose of the Procurement Manager is to take lead on cost reduction, supplier performance and support growth and innovation to complete objectives. This role is hybrid working, with the site based in Milton Keynes which will be rewarded with a generous package and benefits.

• Be the primary point of contact and reference of procurement for UK Business.
• Establish and execute, in line with local management team supported by tools and policies, procurement activities to drive performance (Cost, Delivery, Services, Top line growth, Lean, Compliance) – Negotiations, Contract management
• Support local deployment of procurement strategies (from Categories team) impacting UK Business – Project management, change management
• Ensure effective implementation and compliance with new 2One processes
• Coordinate and lead data management jointly with stakeholders (eg. Industrial , Technical center, Quality) for Business flawless execution – Budgeting, Savings, ERP integration
• Ensure the ERP update with negotiated contracts and pricing conditions, contribute to master data maintenance and support correct P2P process application
• Monitor suppliers quality and service through KPI’s and regular business review
• Deploy quality audits program in cooperation with Quality and Industrial department
• Ensure TCO and help optimizing batch cost

• Education: University degree (Economic, Engineering)
• Work Experience: 5/7+ years working in procurement - experience in Direct Materials.
• Experienced in managing stakeholder relationships - Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all teams, areas and levels in the business
• Experienced in working in a matrix organization (shared goals with Category Teams)
• Autonomous, entrepreneurial mindset and result oriented: Capable of managing complexity with low level of information, decision maker and ability to execute
