National Veterinary Services Manager



This is a unique role that requires a qualified poultry vet with field-based experience of broilers, pullets, breeders and turkey.

The role will require national travel as this is a field-based position and will be very hands on. The need for someone with technical understanding is essential as you will provide advice and support to the business’s clients, looking for advice on poultry vaccination.


  • Ensure promotion by evidencing and adapting to local conditions, product advantages related to the strategy and positioning of the poultry range based on trials.
  • Ensure valuation over product and the customer condition based on regular monitoring and ensuring a correct communication flow with local key opinion leaders, in the local team and with corporate.
  • At a local level, ensure the training of team and customers. Holds responsibility on spreading technical information and ensuring technical training of the whole national organization, supporting Marketing, Services and Sales activities.
  • Acquire credibility in the local market, being recognised as a reference professional in terms of vaccine disease prevention and showing ability to establish beneficial partner relationships within the poultry industry.
  • Liaising with laboratory staff to understand the vaccinations fully
  • Clear communication with clients to make recommendations
  • Initial testing of poultry, followed by ongoing monitoring and testing to analyse the success of vaccinations
  • Being educated and up to speed on poultry diseased in the UK to plan ahead

About You

  • MRCVS qualified
  • Have a strong network in the poultry industry
  • Be well-respected in your field
  • Have field-based poultry veterinary experience
  • Be willing to travel through the UK and Ireland.
