National Trainer - Hearing Care

Our client’s exceptional growth, and capitalization on market conditions has created a new role in their training department, the role as National Hearing Trainer is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Audiologist to branch out into something different, while utilizing their experience to help develop Audiologists, HCA’s and Hearing Technicians.

This role is ideally suited to someone looking to step out of life in clinic. As our client represents one of the best performing domiciliary and visiting site providers in the UK, they are looking for Audiologists that share the value domiciliary care brings, and understand the demand there is for a more mobile form of hearing care.

  • Undertake new hire induction. Ensuring that all new hearing care employees clearly understand the company’s clinical standards.
  • Support the ongoing training and development of all hearing care professionals, supporting both clinical and commercial needs.
  • To promote best practices in domiciliary visits.
  • Support field teams remotely with exceptional technical product knowledge, and clinical advice. With updates to training as required.
  • Collaboratively work towards department goals and objectives.
  • Where required, attend trade events, and be a brand ambassador.
  • Understand and support the adherence to, both NHS and private hearing care guidelines and legislation.
  • Be confident in demonstrating your clinical and dispensing abilities, including patient qualification and aftercare.
  • As required, support the field sales teams with the supply and fit of hearing aids
  • If qualified, train and coach hearing care employees on wax removal.

About You

  • FdSc / Bsc in Audiology or equivalent
  • HCPC registered (preferrable & beneficial)
  • Full & clean driving license
  • Exceptional communicator
  • Confident in presenting / training
  • A leader and coach
  • Energetic, and comfortable working towards a target
