National Sales Manager

Scope

Consult are working with an international, innovative family-owned company who are one of Europe’s leading Electrosurgery Manufacturers committed via research and development to deliver unique products that are clinically proven to the healthcare market.

They’re currently recruiting for a National Sales Manager to be responsible for managing the UK sales force; managing, growing and developing a team of 8 Territory Sales Managers. It will be crucial that you are a strong people manager and are able to come with a structured approach to management. Working very closely with your team in order to coach and mentor them.

Responsibilities

  • Products: Electrosurgery and associated products, cryotherapy and Waterjet Dissection and Rigid Video Endoscopy and associated scopes and instruments. Combination of capital, devices and service products.
  • Full national management including the creation of annual business plans, execution of sales process, pipeline and funnel management, forecasting of business, management of sales opportunities from inception through to implementation, account management of existing customer base.
  • Review, preparation, coordination and follow-up of Tender submissions in collaboration with MD and broader project team.
  • Support the presence of the company at congresses, conferences, training events and meetings, showcasing the technology on offer and our broader solutions.
  • Provision of regular feedback to the Company regarding development and progress in the surgical field.

About You

  • University degree in a relevant field or ideally other relevant qualification.
  • Experience in the field sales of medical devices, working with Surgical Key Opinion leaders in hospitals or within a similarly complex environment.
  • Experience managing, training and developing a high performing sales team
  • Experienced and successful people manager
  • Able to implement sales processes and procedures
  • Be very agile and able to adapt and change these processes depending on the company needs
  • You are pragmatic, proactive, problem-solving and inventive in nature.
  • You possess a keen desire to grow and win market share.
  • You are ambitious by nature and have the ability to bounce back from challenging situations.
  • You have excellent time management, presentation, interpersonal and communication skills, especially with consultants/academics/ Key Opinion Leaders and will have experience in project management.
  • You are fluent in English and an excellent communicator on all levels.
