National Sales Manager

Scope

We are Consult, a UK based health & technology recruitment and executive search consultancy operating on a global level. We are working in partnership with a leading healthcare service provider within the UK&I. They are in search of a National Sales Manager to maintain full responsibility for the Scientific / Life Science business unit.

This candidate will lead a team, developing and programs, processes and projects, whilst building strategic client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage and oversee all sales activities for the business unit
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies
  • Lead a nationwide team to achieve targets
  • Maintain and develop new business
  • Adapt and refine national sales and marketing plans
  • Develop a business plan and strong sales strategy ensuring this is rolled out nationally throughout the business unit
  • Prepare and develop targets at a national level
  • Establish sales objectives by forecasting annual sales targets for regions/ territories

About You

  • Experience working within Life Sciences / Scientific environments
  • MBA or equivalent preferred
  • Entrepreneurial mindset
  • Experience of showing leadership, development and motivating a team of sales people
  • A strong work ethic, being motivated by challenging goals
  • Strong commercial acumen and effective planning skills

This is a remote role, and can be completed from anywhere within the UK.
