Scope

Our client are a global manufacturer of medical disinfection products and consumables looking to expand their business activities in the European region given the success of their growth globally and they are looking to hire for numerous new roles across Europe in order to develop their portfolio within the healthcare markets within these regions. Although the company have been established a number of years, their brand is more prominent now since becoming part of a larger business conglomerate and receiving further financial backing and structure.

These new roles will have responsibility for driving and identifying new business opportunities in your region, amongst healthcare professionals, hospitals and clinics but of course, there is room to grow in to other healthcare sectors also (dental, veterinary, optical, audiology etc) and also identifying opportunities to form partnerships with distributors.

We are looking for a strategic, analytic, and creative thinker with exceptional commercial execution skills.

Responsibilities

  • The Market Development Manager will be in charge of building and driving country growth initiatives in this incredibly high potential business. This individual will work closely with the leadership team and cross functional experts to establish and execute sales growth programs, including:
  • Translate candidate’s knowledge of the infection prevention/medical consumables market needs and competitive environment in the UK, into a market expansion plan
  • Drive sales via in-person selling activities and support of partners growth
  • Uncover potential opportunities and create new partnerships with customers, GPOs and dealers
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in commercial execution

Job Requirements:

  • Understand local market needs and trends, translate them into growth initiatives
  • Plan opportunities funnel to meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales growth objectives
  • Negotiate agreements/contracts
  • Have strong communication and presentation skills
  • Be willing to travel up to 50% of time based on job requirements
  • Identify and engage influencers and decision makers in the field to uncover sales opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of account activity (CRM)
  • Have continuous improvement mindset
  • Embrace company values

About You

  • Proven successful commercial experience in the Medical Infection Prevention Sector or Medical Consumables Sector
  • Proven track record in establishing and building strong business partnerships with channel partners and end users in the complex, tender driven B2B market
  • Experience in creating and sustaining strong business results
  • Bachelor’s Degree; preferably in healthcare or business administration
  • Valid Driver's License
