Key Account Manager

This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the leading veterinary companies in the UK, with many years experience in the companion animal and equine sectors. Our client are looking for a Key Account Manager to account manage all aspects of the customer relationship to large corporate customers. This will be done by promoting and selling vet imaging solutions including products, service contracts and clinical content.

• Sell and develop the Company’s name in the marketplace, using the company values to build confidence in their brand
• Build relationships and fully understand each clients’ business and their growth aspirations, continue to develop relationships and extend the reach of the brand into practices.
• Understand the decision making process and decision makers in each businesses
• Demonstrate suitable equipment based on customer needs
• Deliver applications and installation training as required and support the practice in understanding how the equipment adds value to the client base of the practice. Also present & sell technical service and clinical training.
• Build and expand internal relationships across all core functions to ensure we deliver and maintain a matrix-based relationship across all levels of the corporate accounts
• Provide clinical website and social media content
• Maintain the SAP CRM system with all relevant customer information and opportunities
• All revenue to each corporate will be the responsibility of the Corporate Key Account Manager including equipment, clinical courses, service contracts and consumable sales
• KPIs and targets would be set for each Corporate
• Work with the Commercial Director to provide additional sales support to non-corporate customers in a geographical basis on request to support the wider UK business.

• Significant knowledge of ultrasound and x-ray technologies in veterinary application would be desirable
• Good understanding of the UK veterinary markets
• Previous sales experience would be an advantage
• Qualified veterinarian would be an advantage but not a requirement
