Key Account Manager

Scope

Consult are in collaboration with a global $4bn Diagnostics company that despite challenges within their market are rapidly expanding across the UK and EMEA regions.

The opportunity offers the chance to join a newly created commercial team of Key Account Managers with some very confidential and exciting projects involving co-testing with the chance to develop into leadership roles following success.

The ideal candidate will be a driven and determined go-getter, with a hunger for success and a proven track record of exceeding targets. You will demonstrate experience working within the Medical Devices field, ideally having worked for a reputable global organization and familiarity with a laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals for assigned and acquired products as required
  • Effectively insulate accounts against competition and regain lost customer accounts
  • Effectively interact with all relevant personnel to effect conversion to Company products/technology
  • Manage time effectively; prioritize and make good business judgments and decisions in relationship to efficiency, effectiveness while meeting daily call expectations
  • Develop and execute business plans for targeted accounts
  • Effective sell the company’s sales message to all customers in the targeted territory

About You

  • Demonstrated track record of success and sales accomplishments
  • Relevant knowledge and working experience in the domain of medical devices
  • Proven revenue success at managing key accounts including proficiency in forecasting and working towards sales plans
  • The ability to successfully develop long term relationships with key decision makers and customers
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, communication skills
  • Flexibility with a strong work ethic and personal integrity based on a high value system
