Instrument Repair Technician

This is a BRAND NEW team being created located in the company’s warehouse in Vilvoorde. As an Instrument Repair Specialist your focus will be to execute the entire Instrument Repair and Instrument reconditioning process for the whole of EMEAC. There will be very specialist training provided to the level of a Field Service Engineer, offering the chance to become a specialist in a range of innovative medical devices. The team will be expanding soon and your role will be to support the growth and development, taking on more senior responsibilities and setting you on a pathway to develop internally.

X3 Positions Available!

• In-house technician reconditioning of returned instrumentation to resell state as defined by process, quality requirements and release testing.
• In-house technician providing equipment evaluation, testing and repairs on a variety of products.
• Repair or replace modular level equipment including, electronic components, part assemblies and other related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair non-functional customer owned, company owned Instruments and demo products to the sub-assembly levels.
• Test faulty equipment and apply technical knowledge to diagnose the cause of system malfunctions.
• Use of appropriate tools and test equipment and procedures to resolve equipment problems.
• Record and report failure data and ensure accurate and timely documentation of repair activities.
• Adhere to all procedural and quality processes to ensure highest quality standards are kept.

• Educated to Degree / BTEC / or relevant in Engineering or similar field would be desirable
• Strong technical, problem solving and analytical skills
• Possess a high mechanical aptitude and electronic repair experiences in a related industry or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of electronics, software, networks, digital or analogue circuitry
• Solid computer skills
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Previous GMP, ISO, workshop or field engineer experience preferred
