Inside Sales Representative

  • The role involves maximising revenue potential from incoming customer enquiries, taking ownership of these where practical.
  • Sales support for in field Territory Managers, taking ownership of ongoing and existing opportunities as agreed with the TM, to attain monthly and annual targets.
  • Seeking opportunities from the database, via liaison with TMs based on last activity – reigniting potentially viable leads from the those that are abandoned
  • Seeking new opportunities proactively and working alongside Customer Experience team to deliver a sales focussed Customer experience.
  • Reviewing Customer categorisation and planning activity to grow our core customer base, and seek business from low volume customers.

About You

  • Ideally degree level qualification - desirable
  • Must have GCSE English language and Mathematics grade C or above (or equivalent) - essential
  • Previous experience of sales and/or SSD technologies. Ideally with an understanding of the industrial and microscopy customer applications - desired
  • Can use standard applications to process, obtain and combine information such as mail merges, databases etc.
  • Understanding of a technical sales process and CRM use
  • Willing to travel and occasionally work unsocial hours
