Innovation Project Leader



This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the leading veterinary companies in the UK, with many years experience in the companion animal and equine sectors. Our client are looking for a Project Manager to lead key innovation projects covering areas of automated health diagnosis using artificial intelligence for image recognition and data management.

The Innovation project leader role will lead and develop the market adoption towards a software solutions-based service from capital/consumables. This strategic leader will drive both the technical project implementation of breakthrough ideas and the market launch/customer base understanding of the value of these breakthrough technology solutions.

This person will be part of an international multicultural team. Some travel will be required, with frequent travel to head office in Glasgow and other sites in France, therefore you must be based in suitable travelling distance from one of these sites.


  • Project leadership / Product ownership
  • Provides and/or partners with the project lead on all project documentation (project brief), test plans, requirements definition, high-level risks and assumptions
  • Identifies and communicates barriers to the successful completion of project milestones
  • Negotiates and manages contracts both in the fields of Science/Technology and Marketing to ensure a rapid development of the products.
  • To be responsible for representative office daily operations and communication with outsourced service suppliers (accounting, juridical department)
  • Collects customer feedback, competitor’s and markets information and provide updates to senior management.
  • Customer visits requiring travel both domestically and abroad

About You

  • Experience within either the agricultural or a VetMed environment (highly preferred).
  • A clinical vet/engineering background would be desirable, or a background in data science and/or software programming
  • Experience technical project management
  • Commercial experience of delivering software solutions
  • English Language – Necessity, French Language - Desirable, additional language skills are welcome
