Head of Sales

UK & Ireland

Scope

Consult have a retained partnership with a high-growth European Diabetes company that have a large presence within the USA and European markets, the business has plans to expand within the UK & Ireland market in search for a Head of Sales that will be accountable for the growth of the UK&I business.

Following success, this role will have responsibility to grow and develop a commercial & operational team with a chance to develop in to a Regional Director.

The organization has seen significant investment into their disruptive monitoring technology over the past 5 years and are now looking to commercialize in key global markets.

Responsibilities

  • Work with management Globally to develop implement a comprehensive and effective commercial strategy
  • Recruit and implement the appropriate skill set and headcount structure to be competent, compliant, confident, and empowered
  • Oversee the sales process from inception to completion
  • Colleague retention through excellent support and mentoring, performance and target appraisals and personal development to enhance their skill set
  • Deliver sales forecasts and business opportunities projecting company forecasts and goals
  • Identifying and closing opportunities for proactive new business development
  • Promoting brand awareness and building outstanding relationships, establishing productive and professional relationships with key personnel

About You

  • Proven experience within a Sales Leadership roel, ideally within a Medical / Diabetes organisation
  • P&L Management, budgeting and forecasting
  • Experience leading a high-performance sales team
  • Successful track record of growing business and achieving organizational goals
  • An ability to monitor and analyze sales performance metrics
  • Strong commercial acumen
