Head of HR & Talent

Scope

In this highly progressive and newly introduced role to the business, you’ll be responsible for the HR & Recruitment function in our clients rapidly growing Dental Care business.

You’ll be a real self-starter and highly motivated HR professional, with experience in recruitment and working in a fast-paced, high-performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the recruitment approval process, job postings and application management through relevant external websites
  • Conduct phone screen conversations with candidates and schedule interviews with hiring managers
  • Conduct pro-active searches online to help generate candidate pipelines
  • Administer technical and psychometric testing as required for individual vacancies
  • Co-ordinate all aspects of employee onboarding and induction both pre and post offer acceptance to directly impact a positive new hire employee experience; this will include close liaison with all colleagues across the business
  • Management of the full employee life-cycle including onboarding, referencing, induction procedures, maintain staff sickness/absence tracker, probationary/performance reviews, leaver processes etc.
  • Order and monitor background check process for new hires
  • Prepare all new starter offer letters, contracts of employment, induction schedule/packs and enter all new starting details
  • Regularly connect with new starters to support their recruitment and onboarding experience and proactively make improvements to the processes
  • Update recruitment tracker regularly to ensure progress is logged and communicated accurately
  • Partner with hiring managers to deliver high level of service at all times
  • Get involved in other Talent and HR related admin and project work as required

About You

You will have a minimum of 4 years HR experience with a relevant qualification, and will be experienced in managing recruitment processes with a desire to continue building your career in these areas. Knowledge of dental practice would also be highly advantageous. You will also have excellent organisation and communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • A self-starter who has the ability to deliver excellent results
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to provide high levels of accuracy in all work
  • Strong time management skills
  • Excellent customer/client service skills
  • Proven ability to work well as a member of a team, as well as the ability to work independently
  • Degree level education would be preferred, but is not essential
