Sales Force Effectiveness


We are Consult, a UK based health & technology recruitment and executive search consultancy operating on a global level. We are retained on behalf of a $2bn, highly established brand with over 100 years of heritage. Formed in Europe they are a manufacturer of Medical & Surgical devices that are looking to transition from analogue to digital whilst continuing the expansion of their global business through data driven decision making.

This role is available due to an internal movement of the Current SFE Director and holds the ability to have full ownership of the Global SFE strategy, a role which will allow creativity and complete support by the ELT.


  • Lead, develop, and secure deployment of the global Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) processes & programs to improve global commercial capabilities. This includes deployment of the Global Sales Process, continuous development & execution of CRM strategy, deployment of sales capability framework, incentives and rewards and implementation of Contract & Tender Excellence process & system.
  • Overall responsible for leading and coordination of global as well as local functions with accountabilities related to SFE, CRM and Contract & Tender Excellence Deployment.
  • Lead, manage and coach direct reports to secure high performance, coordination, talent management and personal development.

About You

  • MBA, Degree, or comparable Education level
  • High proficiency in English language

  • Ability to Manage Global Stakeholder
  • Overall accountable for the deployment of the Global Sales Process incl. Segmentation, Targeting, Territory Planning, Account- and Opportunity Planning as well as Opportunity Management.
  • Ensure integration of the Global Sales process with the Pre- /Post Tender
  • Lead the design, execution, and global coordination of SFE initiatives & programs with focus on
  • Sales Force Effectiveness & productivity, deployment of sales capability framework and processes and deployment of relevant tools and sales aid
  • Support robust commercialization of product launches; pre-, launch and post launch activities.
  • Monitoring and follow up relevant KPI’s for the business with focus on sales force effectiveness & productivity and launch excellence.
  • Responsible for execution of the CRM strategy across the regions.
  • Responsible for deployment of Contract and Tender Excellence process and systems.
  • Responsible for global guidelines for incentives and rewards.
  • Ensure process and system integration as well as collaboration between functions such as Commercial, Admin and Legal.

  • Work in close collaboration with global marketing and country sales & marketing functions.
