Field Service Engineer

Scope

We are Consult, a UK based health & technology recruitment and executive search consultancy operating on a global level. We're working in collaboration with $4bn Med Tech company offering products across imaging, surgical and diagnostics. Recognised as a leading innovator within health care they are committed to bringing ground breaking technology to the market that allow healthcare professionals around the world to diagnose and treat their patients with confidence and certitude.

This post is responsible for performing direct service activities on all products across two separate divisions as well as providing a high level of service to customers across all stages, including installation, repair, service and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Basic troubleshooting, installation, maintenance and repair on designated equipment
  • Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications
  • Ordering and managing repair parts cycle times
  • Maintaining tools and test equipment and ensuring they are properly calibrated
  • Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area

About You

  • Experience working within Medical Devices (ideally diagnostics or imaging)
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to diagnose issues on site and over the phone
  • Valid driver's licence (essential)
