Field Service Engineer

This position would be ideal for somebody looking to kick start their career in Medical Devices and Engineering, suitable for a licenced engineer in mechanics or electrical.


  • To perform repairs, modifications and servicing on products at customers or company locations
  • To assist in some capital products deliveries: demonstration and basic training to users
  • To order spare parts, single-use goods and management of samples
  • To participate in audits and follow-ups
  • To possibly train and supervise a junior Field Service Engineer or agency staff
  • To complete activity reports and record/update all activities in relevant IT systems
  • Identify appropriate opportunities to drive cost and time efficiencies and revenues through client interactions.

About You

  • Licensed Engineer in mechanics or electrical field preferred
  • Any required certification for working in Public places and the Health field by local law
  • Understanding of Quality systems and adhering to these in relation to the role of FSE.
  • Driver’s license (non HGV/PSV) (Essential).
  • Understanding of Quality Manual
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety and Regulatory rules
  • Basic knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and norms
  • Basic PC skills (MS Office, Lotus Notes)
  • Availability for on call rotations (with advanced notice given) 24 hours x 7 days
