Responsibilities

The Faculty Manager will work to enhance business’ leadership position in the dental and orthodontic industry by creating and developing world-class speaker engagement and faculty development. This role will serve as the primary point of contact for identified speaker engagement interactions, and as the face of the business to external Opinion Leaders influential in the dental and orthodontic community in EMEA.

  • Lead Faculty management strategy that yields optimal advocacy relationships with key experts.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Clinical, Education and Professional Relations colleagues to identify influential thought leaders and credible educators.
  • Engage and thoroughly brief leading SMEs as Speakers to maximize impact at Tier 1 events and congresses (EMEA and Local Summits, Forums and Symposia).
  • Drive train-the-trainer or coaching sessions dedicated to faculty and speakers.
  • Develop company speakers and faculty’s potential and capabilities through structured and tailored programmes.
  • Manage speaker contracts and Fair Market Value honoraria processes, with the compliance team.
  • Manage the speaker platform and communications with speakers and faculty, in alignment with global and regional launches or initiatives.
  • Maintain quality control of educational programmes, assessing impact, and coaching for improvement.
  • Establish and nurture long lasting relationships with SMEs to enable our vision and support our strategic pillars.

About You

  • Fluent in English. Knowledge of any additional European languages is an asset.
  • BS/BA degree required; Advanced degree preferred
  • A minimum of 7 years in the medical devices, technology, dental or pharmaceutical industry, including experience in Professional Relations, Opinion Leader or advocacy relations.
  • 7+ years of relevant experience ; Dental industry a plus, with demonstrated ability to understand orthodontics
  • Strong relationships building skills, with proven ability to build and maintain partnerships with SMEs and Opinion Leaders
  • Marketing & sales experience a plus
  • Proven understanding of key trends in both internal and external environment
  • Extensive experience in the ability to effectively and successfully develop and deliver on a strategy and consistently get positive results
  • Proven ability to build, maintain and influence effective working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, education, commercial operations and global colleagues
  • Proven ability to manage organizational complexities and breadth of issues
