EHS Engineer

Bangor, 12 Month Contract

  • Responding to site incidents and supporting investigations where required.
  • Driving continuous improvement to reduce risks on site.
  • Carry out High Hazard assessments (e.g. working at height, LOTO etc), capture findings and drive actions to closure
  • Manage site fire risk assessment
  • Lead internal Audits and support site legislative audits and aspects register
  • Support external BSi audits to maintain compliance to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
  • Manage site EHS Training program
  • Deliver training to employees as per schedule
  • Monitor legal changes through external portal and ensure these are rolled out where required

About You

About You:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate preferred or similar Safety qualification essential
  • Minimum of 5 years EHS experience in a Manufacturing environment
  • Science/Engineering qualifications are an advantage
  • Environmental Legislation Awareness is an advantage
  • Leadership skills- Ability to lead teams and participates on cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Expertise - Provides guidance and technical knowledge to peer groups and employees as appropriate.
  • Incident Investigation and incident management
  • Auditing skills
  • Collate and analyse data to make effective improvements
