Digital Transformation Director

Scope

Our exclusive partner is a global leader in Medical Technology company that are growing rapidly across EMEA via M&A and innovation within their markets. The business is looking to adopt digital innovation within the organisation and to their external customer base via the introduction of a Digital Transformation & Strategy Director to develop their Digital adoption strategy from Scratch.

Matrix Reporting Lines to VP Marketing & Senior Director of Commercial Insights

Responsibilities

Purpose:

  • A key individual within the Commercial Development & Insights Team, partnering with Marketing, Operations, IS, Service Enablement, Sales.
  • Responsible for development, approval, and implementation of the digital strategy roadmap.
  • This role will increase business potential - advancing solutions for commercial output, customer base and improve user / customer experience.
  • Driving organizational transformation toward a digital-first mindset will be critical in developing digital solutions identifying unique business opportunities and re-orienting our approach to ensure successful execution.
  • The individual will be able to make the leap between detailed activation plans with the ability to manage key senior stakeholders and local teams through complex strategic debate and discussion.

Accountability:

  • Digital Strategy: Partner with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive digital strategy roadmap to explore new business models and increase customer engagement.
  • Analysing customer needs, business objectives and the competitive landscape. This role requires working cross-functionally and with high autonomy - key stakeholders include Marketing, MOPS, IS, Service, Regional and Local commercial teams. Strategies should allow for multi-channel engagement.
  • Digital SME: Provide critical thought leadership and expertise of digital strategies from understanding, concept, design, customer experience, and implementation of a range of digital platforms.
  • Stay abreast of industry and competition, track marketplace developments including regulatory, technology, new products, and solutions. Support Marketing and MOPs to develop and deploy the marketing tech stack (incl. website).
  • Agile Execution: This role should identify key pilot opportunities for experimentation and advancement around digital strategy and transformation.
  • In collaboration with Global and Regional Marketing leadership, manage and drive the execution of a global digital strategy and tactical plans to unlock business potential in support of digital-first strategy.
  • Develop and manage metrics to evaluate and continuously optimize ROI of marketing activities. Leverage information and analytics to make informed business decisions.

About You

Knowledge & Experience:

  • BA, BS degree required. MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of green field digital transformation in multinational company (consultancy firm and/or in-house)
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Salesforce.com environment and experience creating comprehensive commercial digital ecosystem.
  • Comfortable engaging in difficult or complex conversations with internal senior leaders
  • English and other European Language
