Consult are on the lookout for an energetic, passionate and confident individual as a Sales Director, Specialty Markets to join their fast-growing commercial team. The Sales Director is responsible for leading a specialty sales, account management, and training team in the development, management, and achievement of goals and objectives to aggressively grow market share in the Dental Service Organization (DSO) segment.

Responsibilities
Attainment of specialty market segment revenue, margin, and profitability targets
Develop and execute annual specialty market sales and operational plans aligned with the company’s ambitious growth objectives
Build and leverage relationships with Senior Management and key decision-makers with new and existing partners
Recruitment, hiring, coaching, and retention of specialty market team members
Provide leadership and direction across market-based operations to ensure maximum partner engagement
Develop and execute key strategic initiatives and KPI’s within a partner, including quality, cost, and service metrics.
Develop and manage relationships with cross-functional teams (P&O, Customer Support, Legal, Operations, Finance, Education, and Marketing) to develop and achieve annual and long-term business objectives
Achieve quarterly sales targets by supporting revenue expansion within existing accounts and generating sales to new customer
Collaborate across the organization to ensure streamlined processes and procedures that ensure positive partner and customer experiences
Effective management and efficient use of company resources
Corporate liaison/key contact to key partners
The Director, Specialty Markets is expected to be knowledgeable of the dental/orthodontic market and industry trends, competitors, and leading customer strategies
About You
Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, business, engineering or equivalent required
8-10 years of sales experience in healthcare or medical device sales and/or business development
Demonstrated leadership experience managing high-performance teams
Documented track record in new account acquisition
Experience in the dental market, specifically within the DSO segment
Start-up experience preferred
Ability to lead in a fast-paced, highly visible and dynamic environment
Must have the ability to think strategically, and influence others
Strong team player to collaborate with marketing, training, and clinical teams.
Strong communication skills, and ability to gain customer feedback and business opportunities
Analytical mind with the ability to use data to formulate strategies
