Dental Business Development Manager

Scope

Rare opportunity within the dental market to join a highly reputed and established multi-specialist private practice as a Business Development Manager.

The practice is going through a high-period of growth and has a strong existing network of referring practices, so this is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially astute professional with knowledge of the dental arena to take real ownership of this newly created role and drive the practice forward.

This opportunity is initially available on an part-time basis of 3 days per week (flexible working on offer), with scope for full-time long-term.

Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities for the development of the practice
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the local dental orthodontic practice network and work with them to maximise referral opportunities
  • Review customer feedback through patient satisfaction surveys and action as necessary
  • Contribute to a patient centred approach to service, taking responsibility to lead this
  • Identify and nurture relationships with KOLs/influential customers
  • Assist in developing an annual marketing strategy, with clearly defined KPI’s and ROI
  • Assist in the development of tactical marketing campaigns, including CPD/educational events, direct to consumer events, marketing communications and marketing collateral
  • Manage the relationship with external digital partner for successful lead generation
  • Manage the marketing budget effectively and collate and present regular reports to the Practice Principal
  • Active involvement in the management of the practice website and social media platforms
  • Liaise with the TCO to ensure marketing initiatives, referrals and leads are optimised and the appropriate KPI’s are attained and adherence to the defined patient journey

About You

  • Strong commercial background in in the dental or medical field, understanding of the dental market/practice would be advantageous but not essential
  • Excellent understanding of basic marketing principles
  • Proactive approach to business development
  • Professional and positive attitude
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A high level of IT knowledge and appreciation for new technology
  • The ability to build and maintain positive mutual partnerships with internal and external customers
  • Ambitious, outgoing, driven and self-motivated person
