Customer Service Representative



An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for a highly specialised dental manufacturing organisation. Operating in over 90 countries worldwide, they are looking for a Customer Service Representative to play a key role in the continual growth of the organisation.


  • Daily communications by telephone and email to ensure that customer orders are accepted and progressed to the point of delivery.
  • Participate in regular customer meetings e.g. weekly updates and quarterly account reviews.
  • Proactively communicate to customers regarding open order status and delivery schedules.
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure coordination of production and shipping to meet customer requirements, including assisting with customer complaints.
  • Take ownership of customer expedite requests and ensure updates are provided in agreed timescales.
  • Promptly resolve any issues in a speedy and professional manner in line with Company Service standards.
  • Completing daily order tracking information and attend all required inter-departmental meetings.
  • Create and distribute dispatch notifications and transit tracking for all customer deliveries.
  • Generate invoices for customers in line with customer / business requirements.

About You

  • Must be confident, assertive and an empathetic communicator, and have effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customers. A natural desire to help people.
  • Essential experience of working with an international customer base.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge of customer service charter principles, clearly focused on achieving results through outstanding customer service and effective team working.
  • Preferable to have at least 2-4 years proven Customer Service/Customer Account experience within a manufacturing environment (preferably make-to-order, FMCG/Pharma).
  • An understanding of export paperwork requirements is desirable.
