Clinical Manager - Radiography

Scope

This opportunity is a great chance for an experienced diagnostic radiographer with CT/MRI experience to join a fantastic, growing veterinary organisation (animal health experience not essential). This company provides a range of diagnostic imaging solutions and support services to valued key customers in the veterinary industry.

Responsibilities

An interesting and varied role for a qualified and experienced veterinarian with a passion for diagnostic imaging. The successful candidate will play a key part in the ongoing development of the imaging skillset of both new graduate and experienced veterinary surgeons. Collaboration with internal departments to promote the effective use of veterinary imaging solutions throughout the profession will be expected.

  • Providing support for all radiography sales throughout the UK, Ireland and worldwide
  • Providing expert support for advanced imaging and radiography equipment to the team of account managers and office-based support staff (first and second line)
  • Direct responsibility for addressing customer service calls relating to applications/user technique issues with advanced imaging and radiographic equipment
  • Building of relationships and full understanding of each client business and their growth aspirations, particularly regarding CT, MRI. fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging
  • Understanding of local relationships between practices and key peers/veterinary referral centres in the area, particularly regarding CT, MRI. fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging
  • Understanding the decision-making process, and identification of decision makers, in each business

About You

  • Significant knowledge of 3D imaging modalities including CT and MRI as well as X-ray and ultrasound technologies, fluoroscopy
  • Knowledge of the veterinary applications of the above is desirable
  • Good understanding of the UK veterinary markets is desirable
  • Appropriate knowledge of radiation protection guidelines to perform role as RPS.
  • Passion for veterinary imaging
  • Excellent communicator
  • Established knowledge and understanding of ultrasound and radiography
  • Extensive practical veterinary imaging experience
  • Good understanding of the UK & Irish veterinary markets
  • Existing experience of training/clinical instruction to wide audiences - Advantage
  • Mixed practice experience (especially farm animal) would be an advantage
