Cardiac Sales Manager

Scope

Consult has collaborated with a medical device company that offers innovative peptide technology, revolutionising the way healthcare professionals manage oozing bleeding during surgery.

Due to their rapid growth, our client is recruiting for a Cardiac Sales Manager and the successful candidate will ideally be based in the North of England, whilst reporting to the Commercial Director EMEA.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve the assigned annual sales target
  • Identify the value proposition and the specific market in the field of Cardiac/cardio-vascular
  • Develop relationships with local Key Opinion Leaders in the said field
  • Organise working groups and other events to develop the network of cardiac surgeons
  • Support the sales representatives of distributors and accompany customer visits where necessary
  • Support domestic and international cardiac congresses, symposiums and other relevant events
  • Work with Clinical Manager, Clinical Specialist, and external consultants to provide training to the customers
  • Collect and communicate feedback of market intelligence to the company
  • Work within limits of authority
  • Collaborates with the rest of the internal teams, which include regulatory affairs, quality management, finance, legal and operations as needed

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in life science or similar fields is a plus
  • Business studies qualification advantageous
  • Several years (ideally 5+ years) of experiences in selling medical devices in cardiac surgeries, ideally direct-sales (rather than through distributors)
  • Thorough understanding of surgical procedures in the fields of cardiac/cardio-vascular
  • In depth technical and clinical knowledge in cardiac/cardio-vascular procedures to provide basic product training to customers
  • Sufficient knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements
  • Fluent in English (close to native level).
  • Ability to undertake extensive domestic travelling
  • Based in North of England or northern part of Midlands to have a good access to cover the target area.
  • Right to work in the UK is a must.
  • Current UK driving license
