Scope

Responsibilities

  • Ultimately accountable for managing the overall P&L for the Medical Endoscopy Group of businesses and driving profitable revenue growth. Sponsor and lead the 3-year strategic planning process.
  • Responsible for ensuring alignment between the local UI and EMEA strategies across the Business Units and driving local implementation.
  • Lead with empathy, coaching and developing the commercial teams within the Medical Endoscopy Group of businesses, nurturing a culture of creativity, agility and empowerment with accountability.
  • Shall implement and work to all applicable Health, Safety and Environmental requirements as stipulated within the HSE Manual, HSE Policies, and HSE Objectives.
  • Build a clear awareness of the needs of the customer, the patient and the pertinent market trends in Medical Endoscopy to shape strategy and the go-to-market approach, including the development of alternative commercial models and customer solutions

About You

  • Experience of P&L management within a complex matrix business arena
  • Demonstrated 10+ years’ experience working in senior commercial roles within the medical device, healthcare or life science research industry
  • Experience in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, inclusive of clear pricing and promotional related activities
  • Successful track record in sales leadership, coaching and developing high-performing commercial teams
  • Experience of selling high technology medical devices into a hospital environment and in-depth working knowledge of the UK NHS and healthcare provider landscape is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across the organization including sales, service, technical support, marketing and business management functions
