Scope

To work with the Business Solutions Manager to identify and create customer-centric solutions in conjunction with customers, in response to customer needs. To align with commercial strategy in customer choice and selection of solutions to deliver. To be an internal and external ambassador to transform the business to a solutions mindset and transform customer perception of the company. To generate true partnership with key customers, delivering stronger relationships and mutual growth, increased product sales or direct solutions revenue.

To develop and grow the Company’s commercial effectiveness by adding knowledge and value to our product range, increasing customer satisfaction and sales. To provide veterinary technical support to our external customers and veterinary knowledge to the commercial teams. Responsibilities

  • Internally: works closely with Business Solutions Manager, CA, Marketing Manager, Technical Manager and Key Account Managers, the other Product Managers and the rest of the Marketing team. Liaises and works with Group solutions functions. Has significant contact with the Field Sales, Teleservices teams and Finance department.
  • Externally: builds and maintains relationships with key customers, agencies, press and industry experts.
  • Working closely with customers, Business Solutions Manager, Technical Manager and Product Managers to select and create deployable solutions aligned to customer needs. Working closely with Business Solutions Manager in order to implement. Stages may include pilot, roll out, wider roll-out beyond original accounts/customer. Develop skills as appropriate to support implementation. Support Business Solutions Manager to ensure all solutions are commercially aligned, monitored/tracked and deliver ROI.
  • Work closely with customers to determine needs and opportunities for solutions. To suggest and produce a ‘production line’ of opportunities.
  • Externally, develop sustainable and reliable relationships with key accounts, opinion leaders, industry experts, press, agencies, and professional organisations. Promote Vétoquinol and its solutions know-how at public events, congresses, etc.

About You

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine (MRCVS)
  • Computer literate (competent user of PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Knowledge/ understanding of commercial principle
  • 2-3 years’ experience in UK veterinary practice
  • Experience in education, coaching or training
  • Communicate effectively in a wide variety of ways (presentation skills)Commercially aware, able to identify and capitalise on opportunities
