Rare opportunity within the dental market to work with a highly reputed and established Orthodontic private practice in their continued growth. You will work within a very modern practice with the latest equipment including iTero, and be responsible for leading a high-performing, motivated team who are passionate about providing a first-class experience to their growing patient base.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, motivation, and performance of all staff
  • Agree and facilitate KPI’s for yourself and your team - Monitoring KPI’s and identify efficiency and/or effectiveness improvements
  • Co-ordinate and document annual leave for staff within the centre
  • Management of sickness absence for staff within the centre
  • Follow protocols, policies and procedures and operate in full compliance with all relevant guidelines
  • Adhere to company standards in respect of appearance, behaviour and demeanour at all times
  • Facilitate a dynamic and innovative culture within the team where individuals inspire each other to continuously deliver exceptional outcomes and care for our patients
  • Increase/maintain employee engagement levels
  • Help recruit and select clinical and non-clinical employees
  • Performance manage employees to create the right environment for effective teamwork, striving to provide a first-class patient experience
  • Responsible for continuous development of employees to ensure that the team have high levels of competence and up to date training records
  • Identify opportunities for the development of the practice
  • Develop and maintain relationships within the local dental/orthodontic practice network and work with them to maximise referral opportunities
  • Review customer feedback through patient satisfaction surveys and action as necessary
  • Contribute to a patient centred approach to service, taking responsibility to lead this
  • To take a proactive approach to quality and prepare for any regulatory inspections and ensure that the appropriate evidence is in place to meet inspection requirements
  • Responsibility for budget & P&L management for the practice

About You

  • Successful P&L delivery
  • Significant team building and direct line management experience
  • Background in Dental or Orthodontic practice would be very beneficial
  • Passion for providing high levels of patient care
  • Significant involvement in delivering healthcare in a commercial capacity
  • Track record of developing business growth opportunities
  • Commercial awareness
  • Analytical and enquiring mind
  • Well organised, systematic and resilient
