Consult are looking for a Business Development Specialist with Territory Sales Experience ideally with previous experience of working with design professionals, architects and contractors for our client who is a Global Market Leading Medical Devices manufacturer, specialising in; connected care equipment, surgical workflows & instruments, cardiology diagnostics and safe patient handling. The Business Development Specialist will be responsible for the development and expansion of the Overhead Hoists segment of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Your primary responsibilities will be to drive sales of Overhead Hoists within your region and provide an enhanced level of technical and professional expertise in the area of Overhead Hoists in area of Hospitals, Schools, Community and working with architects and contractors.
  • You will support and advise field sales BDM’s in your area to increase the sales of Overhead hoists
  • This position will serve as the technical expert in the field of Overhead Hoist design and solution solving. You should be able to communicate effectively with customers, architects and contractors as well as various workflow environments.
  • Serve as the lead field resource in area of Overhead hoists within your region. Will be required to interact at a high level in terms of technical capabilities with both end users, architects contractors and distributors.
  • You will be responsible for driving and achieving top line sales in Overhead Hoist Solutions and contributing to the success of the overall business within specific geography but also supporting other regions where necessary to provide specialist support to both customers and the company sales team.
  • Accompany, support and train the sales team to set up complex projects in Overhead Hoist design and construction with comprehensive solutions.

About You

  • Minimum of 3 years selling experience selling with complex selling processes and design solutions
  • Previous Experience working with design professionals, Architects, Contractors
  • Degree/Professional level Qualification
  • Extensive Experience Working with Cad, advantageous if BIM experience, but training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills to clearly understand customer requirements and to accurately articulate the company’s capabilities
  • Ability to present complex designs and technical requirements in a non-technical format to end users
  • Previous experience in project management
